Coladeras, 2010

I made this series in Buenos Aires with the intention of reflecting drawing as representation and documentation. In this series I used the street frotage giving rise to the performative act of drawing. I'm interested in sewers as the visible limits of the city's bowels (sewage) and the urban terrain that every citizen travels continuously. I also like the idea of using them as etching plates, of registering and reproducing its designs.
